W3: Knowing techniques and places

Hi everyone!

This week was I did so many things. Until Wednesday , we focused on the project, altought this post isn’t to talk about the progress of the project, iwant to talk about a new creativity technique that I learn: Scramper. I think that is a really good tool it obliges you to think about other possibilities, in fact very crazy possibilities that you probably would not have in mind. And remember that crazy ideas are not necessarily bad.

For me, at least, it was impressive how I felt that I activate my creativity. I recommend it totally, and I will definitely put it into practice in Chile

On another issue , since Thursday to Saturday morning, we stayed at Durazno, a town of Uruguay. Here i passed so much time with my classmates, now, without doubt I can say that I feel so comfortable with this guys, I will missed their so much . A fact that I would like to share with you, which I found hard to find, is because peach is called like that, after asking many without receiving an answer, I managed to find that the name was due to a solitary peach that existed a long time ago (around of 1830).

At the utec, we worked fixing a toy for a child. Specifically, we fixed a car to remote control, we made it work, we customized it and added lego applications to increase the game possibilities. To do this, we carried out an express design process in which we interviewed to understand the context, we defined, we devised and we approved our rapid prototyping skills (we soldered electrical circuits, we modeled in CAD software, we printed in 3d). Personally I felt that this experience was very similar to the real process, reminding me of the first day, the stress and frustration caused by the uncertainty of not knowing what to do or not knowing if we would achieve our expectations.

Extraprogramatic, we did a barbecue, it was a very rich moments of relaxation, where we shared, we talked and we laughed a lot. I was also pleasantly surprised, I never expect much from social gatherings in which the focus is food, due to the infinite food allergies that I have, eating is never central and many times it is impossible, but even without knowing me much, my classmates really worried that there was food for me, it was a very nice touch.
